I. Enrollment and Registration

1. Graduate students studying abroad should apply for admission to the College of Overseas Education of Jiangsu University with their passport, entry visa, admission notice and JW202 (or JW201) form within the prescribed time. The International Exchange and Cooperation Department is responsible for electronic registration of freshmen. Those who fail to show up on time for reasons need to take leave in advance and obtain permission. The leave should not exceed two weeks. Those who fail to apply for leave or leave without permission and fail to report within the time limit will be disqualified from enrollment.

2. Foreign graduate students must go to designated institutions for physical examination. If they do not meet the requirements of the health standards for admission, they may retain their admission qualification for one year upon their application and examination and approval by the Overseas Education College.

3. Foreign postgraduates who retain their admission qualifications should apply for admission to the Overseas Education College one month before the start of the next semester on the basis of the hospital health certificate. Only after passing the physical examination of the designated institution can they go through the admission formalities again.

4. Foreign postgraduates who retain their admission qualifications will be disqualified and not admitted if they fail to pass the health reexamination.

5. Foreign postgraduates who have already obtained their academic status should register at the Overseas Education College on time with their student certificate and residence permit, pay tuition fees on time, and then register (with the registration stamp on the Overseas Student Certificate). Those who fail to register on time for reasons shall go through the formalities of suspension of registration or leave and obtain approval. Leave without leave or leave without permission shall be handled as truancy. Those who fail to register within two weeks and fail to pay tuition within two months will be automatically dropped out.

6. Foreign postgraduates who teach Chinese must submit the corresponding HSK certificate when they enter the university.

II. Years of Study

7. Generally speaking, the length of study for overseas master students is two to three years, not more than four years; for overseas doctoral students, the length of study is usually three to five years, not more than six years. Foreign graduate students should complete the training links stipulated in the training program within the prescribed time limit.

8. Foreign graduate students should extend their study time because of illness. They should submit their application in writing on the basis of the diagnostic certificate of the designated institution. After the examination and approval of the relevant colleges, they should submit it it to the graduate school for approval, notify the instructor and file with the Overseas Education Institute for the record. Only in this way can they extend their study time and pay for themselves during the extension of their study time. 。

10. The way of guidance for foreign graduate students is the tutorial responsibility system.

IV. Transforming Specialty and Replacing Instructors

11. In principle, foreign postgraduates are not allowed to change majors or mentors after they enter the university.

12. If there is a real need to change professions or mentors due to specialty adjustment, mentor changes or other special reasons, the application shall be submitted by the foreign graduate students themselves and submitted to the Graduate School for approval after the examination and approval of the relevant colleges and for the record of the Overseas Education College.

5. Closing, Returning and Dropping out of Schools

13. Foreign graduate students can not insist on studying because of illness. If they are diagnosed by affiliated hospitals and need recuperation and treatment or have accumulated sick leave for more than one month in a semester, they may go through the formalities of suspension. The application for suspension shall be submitted by me and submitted to the Graduate School for examination and approval with the consent of the relevant institutes, and submitted to the Overseas College of Education for the record.

14. Foreign postgraduates will retain their status for one year during their rest period. At the end of the semester, an application for resumption of school shall be filed one month before the beginning of the semester. When resuming school, a hospital certificate must be issued, and a physical examination shall be conducted at a designated institution before resumption of school. Failure to return to school on time will result in automatic dropout.

15. If a foreign graduate student is absent from class due to causes or is unable to continue learning for other reasons, he or she requests that he or she drop out of school or confirms that it is not suitable for him or her to be a graduate student's continuing trainer. The proposal is submitted by himself or his supervisor and signed by the relevant colleges and approved by the graduate school and the overseas education institute. According to the requirements of China's entry and exit administration department, I will change my visa at my own expense and then drop out of school. Foreign students who drop out of school should leave school on time.

6. Graduation, Graduation and Certificate Material

16. Foreign graduate students who use foreign languages to receive diploma education shall write abstracts of their graduation theses in Chinese.

17. Foreign graduate students complete their study tasks according to the regulations, pass the course examination and thesis defense, are allowed to graduate and issue their diplomas. Those who meet the requirements for degree award shall be examined and approved by the Academic Degree Committee of the University and shall issue degree certificates.

18. After graduation, foreign graduate students must go through the formalities of leaving school, obtain "diploma" and "degree certificate" on the basis of the school leaving slip, and terminate the status of foreign graduate students. The school will no longer go through the formalities of extension of residence permit. Graduates of foreign postgraduates should leave school on time. Overseas Education Colleges are responsible for electronic registration of foreign students'Diploma certificates.

VII. OTHER

19. The matters not mentioned in the present Provisions shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Graduate Training Program of Jiangsu University. The Overseas Education Institute is responsible for interpretation.
